When I lived back east in the D.C. area, Cherry Blossoms always signified the first signs of spring! But here in Texas...it's all about the beautiful Blue Bonnets!

Boxwood Gardens
This year I have decided to do boxwoods in the garden. I want to do them in containers and in the ground to give my garden a bit of a formal feel to it. They are so versatile and always look great. Here are a few photos of inspiration!

Spring Break.....Please!
Spring is in the air! I came across this quote which was spot on for me!
With spring comes the birds, and we have quite a few in the yard starting to make their nests! |

I love the use of moss, tulips and candlesticks for this great spring like table setting! |
Having lived in the D.C. area, Cherry Blossoms always sign spring! |

French Blues......
Today I felt like a stroll through the French Countryside to observe that pretty shade of French Blue that greets you at almost every turn. From exterior shutters, gates, stone and weathered urns to interiors of beautiful patina walls, furniture and woodwork. Color me Blue!

Oh Noooo.....not wallpaper!!!!
I happen to love wallpaper, but in the back of my mind there's this little voice that says do not wallpaper if you ever want to resell your home! That being said, wallpaper has come a long way since the days of fruits and flowers, crazy borders and bold obnoxious patterns!
Today's wallpapers are elegant, sophisticated and add just the right touch. They tend to blend into their surroundings versus overwhelming them. Take a look at a few of my favorites....
A SOFT AND SUBTLE BACKDROP TO A NEUTRAL COLOR PALETTE |
JUST ENOUGH |
THIS WALLPAPER SEEMS TO ENHANCE THE BLACK and WHITE ARTWORK |
METALLICS ADD SUCH A NICE TEXTURE |
GREAT SELECTIONS FOR A KIDS ROOM |
A BEAUTIFUL PAPER FOR A BABY'S ROOM. IT'S A NICE CHANGE FROM THE TYPICAL PINK OR BLUE COVERED WALLS! |
AN INTERACTIVE WALLPAPER TO PROMOTE A CHILD'S CREATIVITY |
GREAT COMPLEMENT TO THE SOFA FABRIC |
A SOMEWHAT BUSY PATTERN WORKS WELL WHEN BALANCED WITH NEUTRAL FURNISHINGS. YOU CAN VIEW EVERYTHING NICELY....NOTHING COMPETES WITH EACH OTHER. |
I LOVE THIS FABRIC WALLPAPER THAT MATCHES THE HEADBOARD AND LAMPSHADE! |
HOW ABOUT A LIFE-SIZED WORK OF ART? THIS WOULD BE GREAT IN A LOFT! |
THE WALLS AND CHAIRS SEEM TO BLEND AWAY IN THIS INTIMATE SPOT FOR TWO! |
Thanks for visiting!
